How it works

 

Salt Water Chlorination is a simple principal, similar to how the sea and its ecosystem function.
+ The pool water is very slightly salty (9 times less than seawater).
+ The salt is transformed by electrolysis through the cell into chlorine gas, a powerful disinfectant instantly dissolved in the water.
+ The chlorine gas destroys all the micro-organisms in the cell and maintains an adequate level of free chlorine in the pool.
+ The active chlorine, which is eliminated under the effect of the sun´s UV, is constantly renewed by the cell without any intervention by you.

 

A few tips

+ Choose the model most suitable for your pool, depending on the volume of water, the characteristics of your water, (hardness, maximum temperature), and how your pool is used. (volume calculated for 8hr filtration periods).
+ The TS models are fitted with a clock, which can either control the filtration, or provide an independent chlorine production time.
